ACTIVITIES
Some of our activities and services include:
- Plant Sales: We purchase large numbers of plants from
various growers two times a year for our members to add to their respective
collections.
- Plant Auctions: Members have the opportunity to
purchase plants from fellow members at great prices.
- Library: We have our own extensive library for our
members and add to it frequently.
- Newsletter: A monthly publication is sent to
each member with all the information on meetings, functions, and other
items such as area shows, growing tips, etc.
- Exhibits: We plan and stage beautiful orchid exhibits
in our sister society orchid shows.
- Annual Orchid Show: We sponsor our own orchid show
each year.
- Annual Picnic and Annual Christmas Party: These events
provide a social opportunity to become better acquainted with other
family members. As in all events, wonderful orchids are given as
prizes and door prizes.
